Globus isn't sure whether to be troubled or titillated by his readers 'fessing up their OCD foibles. Here's the top 5 :
Amy - stores media by alphabet AND date of release - crivens! Bludgeons visitors to near-death if they incorrectly replace a CD or DVD on the rack in the wrong spot.
Earl - despite his life being a mess, clearly resists attempts to grow up by compulsing over his collection of comics.
Deejay - frequent domestic standoffs revolving around which direction the Brita water jug is facing in the fridge. Must be a pretty quiet household - Globus tends to fall out with the missus over more nuclear-type stuff like affairs, money, kids, car crashes etc.
GirlWithTheMask - avoids public conveniences and admits to being constipated in public, frequently.
As an aside, Globus has almost finished Allen Carr's book so his time as a filthy smoker is almost up. Any tips (not sex or alcohol related) to help him on his new journey sans smokes would be most welcome. He's feeling stressed just thinking about it.
Globus will be offline most of this week, larging it up in Spain. Have fun :-)

tee hee hee..thanx for not divulging my OCD stuff on you blog:) The brita jug takes the cake me thinks:)
I would think that being constipated in public is much better than the other end of the spectrum.
That would be messy.
earl.....eeeeeuw!!!! thanx for that! i've got a picture brain you nana.....*running to get the mind eraser flashy thingy from MIB movie*
Thanks for highlighting our OCD battle lol
Good luck with the no smoking
Try to find an incentive of something that you would really like and would be able to afford after say 4 months of non smoking with the extra money you would have. Worked for me nearly 30 years ago and enabled me to buy my first colour TV (remember black & white?)
And NO weak moments buying cheap ciggies in Spain!
Spain...I am SOOOOO jealous!
OMG you're going to Spain, through the duty free AND you've nearly finished the book?!! Careful then!!
I scored a mention on your blog? yay for me and my idiosyncracies! Other than that, enjoy Spain, and ignore the temptations... fingers crossed for you!
Enjoy Spain.
I'm a bit obsessive/compulsive about my Google Reader list. I don't like it if it gets above a certain number - makes me edgy. Are they your socks? Do you have a pattern other than the diamonds?
Have a great time in Spain.
x
PS: The other thing is nearly ready.
Actually my dad quit by eating a breath mint everytime he got the urge to smoke. It reminded him of the difference a fresh breath and a smoke breath tasted like.
Phew! My obsessive behaviour is normal. Well. Kinda.
