Globus has been preoccupied of late, hence the blog-drought. Pictured left is the reason why; Globus has actually been having a steamy affair with this fine specimen. The latest (and possibly concluding) chapter of this tryst is that he now has competition; she's met someone else - leading Globus to surmise that if you are going to do the dirty, there are five fundamental facts you need to accept. Inevitably, if in a long-term relationship, and unless you're pug-ugly, the temptation to play away from home will arise at some point, so do yourself a favour and apply these rules of thumb :
1) If you succumb to temptation, make sure your 'temptee' is either a) in a relationship as well, b) a complete stranger charging you by the hour, or c) someone totally outside of your family/friends social circle.
2) Never, ever, promise them anything.
3) Never, ever let your emotions into it.
4) Never, ever, let them call you on your mobile.
5) Never, ever, EVER, add them to Facebook.
More fundamental truths would be ensuing, but sadly Globus has a rather pressing appointment with a bottle of Tempranillo. (Globus hasn't incurred any of the last 3, but knows he's got emotionally involved, as otherwise he wouldn't be feeling so fucked up, would he?)

emotions are a hard one to turn on and off...however with age, bitterness helps and it is so much easier to just turn them off...i only let them out for certain portions of some days now...it's so much easier...
