The football season kicks off with a pleasing QPR 2-1 Barnsley result. Globus once had a fight with some Barnsley fans after QPR's memorable FA Cup 3-1 home win, maybe there's something in the water in Yorkshire.
Cookie (Lee Cook, pictured) is also back at Loftus Road for the season - result.
Not so great for sport elsewhere - the cricket's rained off, and the Olympics are just too bastard early to watch, aren't they?
