Scouring the news, the world's gone a bit mad, hasn't it? British Airways staff are going on strike, which surely in the long term means they will damage the brand they work for, and heighten their chances of redundancy. Let alone get black marks in the employee files held on them in BA house.
The BNP is in the news again, and Globus saw a report on the BBC stating that the phrase 'indigenous British society' was offensive in the BNP manifesto. Might seem a fucking obvious question here, but offensive to whom? Globus is indigenously British, living in Britain, and a member of British society. Who's that offensive to, exactly? As a British taxpayer Globus is curious to find out who's offended by an indigenously British society. Surely most of Britain -is- an indigenously British society. Globus usually knows who he's offended, and why, so it's interesting to think there are some out there he's offended without even knowing about it. Incidentally, this blog has very little contemporary political bias and it's unlikely any political party will get the Globus vote in this year's elections.
That's it folks. Brief news rant over.
